Talking about Naivety
Talking about Naivety
When I was a child it was often associated with purity, genuinity, quality, beauty.
Today it's seen as a bug. A distortion. An anomaly..
In the Society of Marketing, one against the other, ignorant people who call themselves intelligent in a miserable attemp at self-referentiality, there is no more room for naivety.
The Law is no longer understood and interpreted, but applied like a "two times table" by hordes of incompetents, it does not allow for naivety either.
So hurray!.. hooray for the woman who trusts a man and is betrayed, hooray for the man who starts a family only to find himself divorced, out of the house and without children, hooray for the student who tells the teacher that he didn't study yesterday because there was the Italian national team match, hooray for those who still eat jam with their fingers.
Naivety is not a lifestyle, but a part of ourselves that sometimes we need to stay healthy. Naivety is what connects us to our deepest parts such as passions, talent, love, happiness, and to our origins such as family, memories, history.
The less naivety a Society allows, the shorter and more insignificant that Society's future will be.
So, as they say, naivety is dead.. hooray for naivety !!
